Description from the Washington International Diplomatic Academy: Our Summer Diplomatic Academy is an exceptional opportunity to learn from and work with career ambassadors with decades of experience. This unique and intensive practical professional training program introduces undergraduate and graduate students and recent graduates to careers in international diplomacy.
The four-week program includes two 90-minute sessions per day (with one 30-minute break), Monday through Friday, for a total of 60 instruction hours. The sessions will be held live in real time and will include exercises, discussions and assignments. The material emphasizes a skills-based and experiential-learning approach. The program also includes career-counseling sessions.
Students can apply for $1,000 partial scholarships, which would reduce the $4,000 tuition fee to $3,000.
